The B&B location is superb. You are right in the middle of it all and can easily walk everywhere. A little square sits in front of the building with a lot of action going on. The tram lines and major tourist attractions are close and you are near Rembrandt Square which has a number of bars, restaurants, and connections to the canal. Dam Square and the Red Light District are close by as well.
The room amenities are just enough. You have utensils to make coffee and tea, a hairdryer and a spotless bathroom. The room is very clean as well. Housekeeping does a great job.
It seems as if around the world English is the language of communication and the B&B does not disappoint. The owner and staff English is perfect.
This B&B is not the best place for children. There are goings on in the building that are not appropriate for kids.
Sure the location is great, but so is the noise. Expect to hear plenty of it until the wee hours into the night.
There is no elevator, so you will have to make your way up and down several flights of steep stairs. If you or someone with you are physically challenged, this can be a big issue. The facility is a little tricky to find as well as there is only a tiny sign indicating the B&B's presence.
