If you are in a rush or need to check in without a prior booking, you may have luck getting a room at this hotel.

It's a pretty convenient location near midtown and the financial district. There are a number of great places to eat and the Farmer's Market is nearby by as well. North beach is close and you are within walking distance to the best San Francisco has to offer.

If you need budget accommodations in the San Francisco area, you can't get much cheaper than this.

Get ready for cockroaches and bed bugs. Broken windows, no heat, urine on the shared bathroom floor, foul smells, and anything terrible you could think of. You will find every type of unsavoury individual character staying at the hotel as well. The rooms are small and need updating. The bathroom is far from the room and the carpeting in the corridor smells horrible.

You may find the rooms small with no place to hang your clothing. Forget about getting clean linens or towels, and no soap. There's basically no type of customer service to make your stay comfortable in any manner. You're just there and left on your own.

There are rules at the hotel but no one follows them. The people are shady and the front desk has shady characters too. The Wi-Fi is slow or it doesn't work at all.
