Ballyhoura Hostel is a luxury hostel nestled in the mountain village of Kilfinane in the Ballyhoura Mountains at the foot of the Galtees. Located 27 miles outside Limerick city, we are off the beaten tourist track and make an ideal base to recharge the batteries, with all the homely comforts you need. Beautiful solid hardwood beds, hotel grade mattresses, 100% Egyptian cotton linen, fully equipped self-catering kitchen, free WiFi in common areas, numerous high powered showers and a gorgeous spacious living room with big comfy couches, large open fire and a wide screen T.V. This is a quiet and relaxing home away from home where you can completely unwind before heading back on the busy tourist routes. The largest mountain bike trails in Ireland are just 3 miles away and there are beautiful walks, clay and air rifle shooting, horse riding and many other activities in the immediate area. Situated right in the heart of the Ballyhoura mountains in the town of Kilfinane this is a lovely rural getaway with the shops, restaurants and several friendly pubs just a stroll around the corner.
