The hotel is situated adjacent to Sierra Tejeda-Almijara Nature Park and is in one of Andalucía’s most tranquil locations.

    Superb food.

    Mediterranean in style, menus here provide highlights to any day and there are noticeably impressive menus for vegetarian guests. Reasonably priced, the wine list, too, features a number of Spanish wines.

    Sensational pool.

    It obviously benefits from a glorious setting but the outdoor pool is massive and there’s lots of surrounding space for relaxation and sunbathing. Somehow, people seem better behaved here, so there’s no dawn dash to place towels on sunbeds, or anything like that. Very civilized!

    Rooms have some amazing views. They are clean and well equipped and maintained. Staff, too, are very friendly and helpful and complete the picture for a relaxing sunshine break.

    What could be better than dining outside in this glorious setting ... with just cats to keep you company! If you feed them, you’ll have unwanted friends for life.

    The Wi-Fi is a waste of time and frustrating and there’s a strange feature whereby, when you leave the room, the refrigerator goes off. The disadvantages of this are obvious.
