Comfortable, contemporary and clean, within convenient proximity to Tuam, Galway and Sligo Road. Plenty of parking and great conference facilities.

The bar food is tasty and served up generously, and the Sunday lunch is popular even with the locals. Fish and chips are done just right here, as are the carvery and soups - and be sure not to miss the dessert menu!

Some of the rooms are cold, as is the bath/shower water. Ask front desk staff for an extra heater if your room won't heat up within a reasonable amount of time. Alternately, the warmer months may require an additional fan in the rooms without air conditioning. Leaving the windows open is another option, but this often brings in the noise from outside.

The complimentary breakfast may lack some appeal, as the selection is quite minimal and the quality varies from adequate to well below expectations. Tea and coffee cost extra and vegetarians have few, if any, choices. Portions are small compared to other nearby venues. There are several alternatives in Tuam (just an eight-minute drive or a fifteen-minute walk from the hotel) if you'd like to give them a try.

Although staff are polite and pleasant enough, they don't seem to possess a full understanding of top notch customer service. Management would be wise to give them some tips.
