AMMA Lisboa Hotel (Lisbon, Portugal)

The staff here is said to be very friendly and amiable — and was the highlight of many guests' stays —  while the team was thought to be helpful with things like city suggestions.

Those who opted for a stay at São Pedro said they were close to a handful of Metro stations, giving very easy access to the airport and all of Lisbon's downtown attractions. In addition, guests said they were near to restaurants, bakeries and shopping.

While a number of guests were not impressed with the simple selection of continental dishes in the breakfast buffet, others thought this was fine considering the room rate and the fact that it was provided complimentary. Others were happy to eat out at a bakery.

Many of those who stayed here found the rooms to be dated;  showing signs of wear and tear, and need for maintenance, while the apparently tiny, antiquated lift really only fits one person at a time. Having said this, a few guests mentioned staying in updated rooms, so it appears some renovation is underway.

São Pedro's rooms and bathrooms were occasionally mentioned as being rather small and basic for the tastes of some, but were nevertheless said to be clean and comfortable.

A small number of guests mentioned that they thought their room was not particularly well noise insulated, so you may be advised to take earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
